Quite the familiar saying yet those words have never echoed louder in our hearts than this week, this day. With every phone call, message, and hug, we have experienced an outpouring of love, kindness and grace from every person who has taken time to grieve with us. We appreciate it all.
Felistas Turari Gitau was born in Gatuikira village, Nembu Division in Gatundu District, back in 1956 to Magdalene Wambui & the late Onesmas Gitau. The second born of five, she was more than a pillar of strength, a light-house, a voice of reason to everyone she interacted with.
A daughter, a sister, a cousin, a wife, a friend. A mother. a grandma.
